I am...Person. I've decided to look for a new E-Fed since the one I was a regular member of slowly died and final flatlined a few days ago I have 2+ years of E-Fedding and I am mostly used to using actual wrestlers but I want to try a CAW here. Also to explain the username, it's a generic name I picked a while back to use at websites while I decide whether I like the site and will stay, if I do then I change the name, if not, well you can guess Found this place on Aaron's and decided to give it a look, I hope this place will become my new home for E-Fedding. Normally I'd ask the simple questions: post limit? swearing? is 'so and so' taken? But I'll look around and find out for myself. EDIT: I do have one question I couldn't seem to find an answer for, well two. 1. Are dead people allowed for a Pic Base? 2. Is Chris Candito taken?

I'm not staff, but I feel I can answer a few of your questions. There is a post limit in effect here, two per person in a singles match, one per person in a tag match, and up to four posts for the monthly PPV's. As far as swearing goes, since these are supposed to be televised events, try to censor yourself as best you can. The way I see it, if Stone Cold can say it, you can too. As far as pic bases go, so long as it's not in poor taste, I don't see why a deceased person would be unacceptable, and I don't believe anyone uses Candido.
Other than that, welcome aboard, enjoy your stay, and here's hoping it's a prolonged one.

Mr. Omega hit the nail on the head pretty solidly here. Here are some further answers from the staff:
- Swearing: If your character is going to swear, it should be bleeped out, i.e. replacing the word with -censored-, -bleep- or the like. The forum's filters will catch some but not all of these words.
- Post Limits: As Jay said, there are limits. Two per person in a singles match on a weekly Shockwave show, four per person in a singles match for a pay-per-view. For tag matches, one per person for Shockwave, one per person for pay-per-views plus a blended "third" promo for the team. For special matches, notes in the card posting will detail the post limits. If for some reason you wish to do less than the limit for a match with someone, we encourage you to contact that person and work out an agreement which should then be sent to the staff to be verified. This helps for people who are limited on time or net access.
- Picture Bases: Generally, there's no restriction on who you can use as a picture base for your wrestler unless, of course, that person is already in use. Chris Candido should be open, as Jay said.
As for who's taken, well...we suggest going back and reading some of the recent shows for information like that as well as recent promos. It'll have the dual purpose of answering such questions as well as giving you an idea of what to expect here.
And welcome aboard.

I do have an additional question. The website wants us to send our apps to the email provided, but there is also a place on the forums for that. Do we have to send them to both or just one?

We want applications sent only to the ACWStaff@gmail.com address. That is where they are filed and kept for archivial purposes. As it stands, all applications, matches and strats are sent to the gmail account. Notices of absence and matters bring brough to staff attention should be sent via PM to this name on the forums.
Also, if you have AIM, MSN or Yahoo, you can contact most staff members directly there.

I emailed my app a while ago. Do I wait for a reply in email or on the forums if I was accepted?

I believe you wait for a confirmation via email... After you're accepted, (mind you, I am not a Staff member in any way) you're free to post your finished application on the boards.

Grateful Dead is awesome and that song is what got me interested in E-Fedding again *not quiet sure how*
I was originally going to have the song Casey Jones as his song, but I decided against it.
Also, I was approved! Now to post my profile.

Should we square off one day, prepare yourself to be referred to as "Wayne Gretzky. On steroids."

Yes, you will be booked on the next card. If you have a specific person you wished to be your opening match PM the ACWStaff username with the headline of "Attention Booker" and our resident booker, Chris, will get to it.
However i would offer the advise of get a strat ready for the show. Maybe two. Get your character out there. A interview of something to show who he is, why he thinks the way he is does, is he alone? Who is his manager? Is he rich? Poor?
Let the ACW base get a grip on your guy.

To ease your confusion, that's a line from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, when the character Casey Jones busts into an antique shop wearing a goalie mask, sportin' a goalie stick. Donatello asks "Who's this guy?" To which Michaelangelo replies "Wayne Gretzky? On steroids?"
