I apologize, everybody, for causing a delay for the posting of Shockwave. I promised to write a match yesterday, but my internet died soon thereafter, mainly due to this ridiculous weather. We had ice everywhere and it killed some power lines in the area.
It's depressing-- it was 70 degrees on Friday, and now there are four inches of snow on the ground.

At least all we got (so far) was a dusting of snow. The kids were pissed enough there was no school yesterday I'd have been in fear of my life if they'd missed it today...

I don't know where yall live, but Virginia is just frickin' cold. No snow for a while, but they still goin' to take part of spring break away.

Last night there was a yong couple (21 and 18) from Florida got a bit lost and somewhat stranded at the truck stop I work at. The lost part would be that it's in Zanesville, Ohio and they were going to northeast Pennsylvania (about 600 miles west of their destination) and the stranded part would be no heat in their van and he didn't have a jacket, and they were also broke. They also, being from Florida, were about to die i the ~30 degree temperatures.
Luckily for them, a friendly trucker said "How the hell did you end up all the way over here?" and then, upon getting their full story, bought them an atlas, marked out how to get to their destination while avoiding toll roads, and then gave them money to get a winter coat off the clearance rack and top off their gas tank.
Poor, unintelligent southerners needing to rely on good old yankee kindness and advice to survive in winter...

I take offense to that haha. I am a from the south, but I live in Virginia, so I know how to survive the cold, since I have to deal with it. Florida is a way different story.

Ha, pansies. This all sounds like a fine Canadian spring day to me. We have coffee shops with drive-through windows built specifically for snowmobiles up here. On average, temperatures drop to about -20 Celcius. Not sure what that is in Faranheit, Metric to Imperial conversion has never been my strong suit.
