Now, I know you're all busy people but I'd like your opinions. It would really help me out if you were to give me your opinions on what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong. Don't be afraid to be blunt or otherwise rude, I mean, I won't take offense to it as clearly I'm asking for it. I just really wanna know what y'all think I'm doing right and wrong so I can work on those faults accordingly. Thanks ahead of time. <3

Honestly, and I know you told me to be not bias... I enjoy everything you do. The only thing I might suggest.. Change of scenery here and there. Laroux always seems to be sitting there in thought... or standing still.. don't be afraid to have fun with the description [/font]

I'm going to 'me too' on the enjoyment factor for XL's promos, his verbals are usually very spot on and sound just like how a real person would speak. There's no awkwardness or hesitation there, just a nice smooth flow of words.
You do a good job setting a scene but then sometimes forget to interact with it afterward. It's a sort of 'artsy' type thing but every now and then it might be nice to have something happen to draw the reader back into the setting. Something as simple as a bird singing when someone is outdoors can make the reader think back to a day they were outdoors and it adds another layer of realism to the work.
Its like...if you have an apple in your hand I want to be able to read and picture in my mind the color of the apple, the crisp sound of teeth biting into the flesh, that liquid splat of juice that dribbles from the corner of your lips and that soft fragrance of fruit on your breath afterward.
=D But your promos have a sense of fun behind them, I feel that XL doesn't take himself too seriously and that's a great thing.
