[glow=red,2,300]Angels of Death[/glow]
Icon felt like a kid in a candy store while he sat at ringside for the Sunday show. He watched each wrestler and each match with such intensity that he could recount each one by memory. He studied those whom he would soon be gunning for. All the time making a mental note of each mistake made. None of them even caught on to what he was doing. To them he was just another spectator sitting at ringside. Only Angel Fyre and Night Rider had discreetly acknowledged him. He gave a big grin and clapped loudly right along with the rest of the crowd. It wouldn't be long now and they would know him alright. It was just a matter of time. He doubted if they would even remember him being here.
After the matches were over he met up with Night Rider in the locker room while Angel Fyre waited outside.
Icon: I just wanted to take a minute alone with you to tell you that just because you started things here it doesn't mean that you are in control of the operation. I am still the number one guy around here and you had best remember that.
Night Rider: Let me tell you something Icon, The only thing that makes you the number one guy is the 2 million you paid me. Otherwise I would be stomping your @$$ right now.
Icon: Anytime you feel froggy, Jump. Now can we get out of here and take care of business. You know you shouldn't keep Angel Fyre waiting long. You know how she gets.
Night Rider: Do I ever, Come on and lets go grab some coffee.
The two met up with Angel Fyre outside and, after getting a dirty look from her, Headed for the local coffee house. After being seated and refusing menus they were brought their coffee and then left alone by the waitress.
Angel Fyre: Well, Icon. It's good to see you again. It's sure been a long time. You look like you have kept yourself in pretty good shape.
Icon: I could say the same about you but I wouldn't want to make Night Rider Jealous. Anyway, I kept pretty busy in the lower feds but didn't really have a whole lot of competition you know.
Night Rider: Yeah, That's one thing that I like about the ACW. There is some pretty tough competition around. Even half of the females look like they could kick any mans @$$. I sure wouldn't want to mess with them.
Icon: That's why it's important to get on their good side. Just like I plan on doing here.
Angel Fyre: Yeah but, Why pay 2 million dollars when you could just go up and talk to her.
Icon: Because this is the only life she knows and I want to show her just how good I am before I approach her. It's worth it to me.
Night Rider: What if, After everything she isn't interested?
Icon: That is just a chance I am going to have to take. If it's not in the cards then at least I gave it my best shot. What more can I say.
Angel Fyre: Well, I don't see how she would be able to refuse. That is so romantic. I saw that you took care of your legal problems back in Chicago. And you even took care of everything with ACW. Very impressive.
Icon: Yeah, I had a little trouble at O'Hare a while back and had to take care of it. I wasn't going to let them disrespect me like that. I think I'm going to like it here in ACW. I was checking everyone out earlier and saw a lot of talent out there. Saw a few mistakes I could have easily capitalized on that the other guy didn't even catch. That's promising.
Angel Fyre lifts her coffee cup up to salute.
Angel Fyre: To a rebirth and a return to greatness for the Angels of Death and to true love.
Icon finishes his coffee and makes an excuse for having to leave. He pays the bill on the way out and leaves a generous tip for the waitress. Now that his meeting was over he wanted to get back to his hotel room and put the information he had gathered from the evenings card onto his laptop. He was ready and the time for judgement would be soon. The traps have been set. Now it was all up to the catch to take the bait.
What would the future hold for Icon and the Angels of Death. Would they return to the greatness they achieved in the ESW? Or crash and burn like so many who have come before them? Only time would reveal their fate, Theirs and the rest of the ACW.
